🚂 Dapol Reveal O Gauge Class 517 0-4-2T Decorated Samples

Dapol has proven samples embellished for his new toolled vary of Nice Western Railway 517 Class 0-4-2T Steam Locomotoes in O Gage!

Open cab and closed taxi variants in GWR colour schemes are covered by this new variety. While the artwork is being finalised to allow the manufacturing plant to deliver ornament samples, the DAPOL design group is now reviewing and inspecting the samples. We promise to show you the finished artwork as soon as it’s ready. We hope you’ll like looking at the photos of those early engineering examples in the middle.

There are six distinct models available for pre-order in the GWR colour scheme collection. All of these are ready for the DCC, whether it’s the match or the sound, and we’re counting on them to do well in inventory by the end of this fall 2025.

Designed by George Armstrong, the 517 class of little 0-4-2T tank engines were used by native passengers on the Nice Western Railway. 144 were built at Wolverhampton Works in 13 years, from 1868 to 1885, and all of them were outshopped. They were relocated around the system after transitioning to auto-coaching.

Rebuilding Sweden and seemingly looking similar to the 48xx courses he built in 1932, Charles Collate expanded tanks throughout 1924 and supplied a new cab that changed into a bigger bunker when he turned CME. He failed to meet the requirements for nationalisation by the end of August 1947 in Class 1159. Nobody has taken any interest in any of the category members.
