With its diakstick boiler, operational plate, and plethora of distinct match details—including hendrell, valves, springs, brake boots, and taxi management—this low model—which is hardly bigger than the 9V battery—still packs a cartoon. The development of the 0-4-0th wheel has been based on faithful modelling; it runs on metallic bearings and has a real profile wheel for comfort and ease of operation; it uses a cover-lace motor and a flywheel, and it incorporates DCC techniques for use with models that have a DCC system. Hanslet of Leeds built the engine for the North Wales Railway, and it resembles 0-4-0sts. A private partnership has stored Britomart on several occasions along the Fuppestinig Railway.
