I’ve recently gotten more serious about making my rolling stock and buildings look more realistic, and I finally decided to give weathering a shot. I picked up some weathering powders and a few acrylic paints, but to be honest, I’m a little nervous about messing things up.
What’s the best way to start for a total beginner? Should I practice on old or cheap cars first? Also, is dry brushing better than using powders for a more natural look?
If anyone has before/after photos or simple beginner tips, I’d love to see them!
Thanks in advance – excited to learn from the pros here.
