It is a tougher than I realized working on a little station for my branch line has been challenging. plastic kits seem too shiny until I rough them up; cardboard mockups look strange. do you guys just assemble kits until it seems right or scratch build everything? also,
How do you make brick walls seem like they are straight from the box?
I tried paint pens and dry brush, but it still looks a little like a toy. any ideas for making things look like they have been there for years?
