I’ve been running into a frustrating issue lately—my diesel loco runs fine on the mainline, but stalls every time it hits certain turnouts. I’ve cleaned the wheels, checked the track, and even tried different speeds, but it keeps happening on the same few switches.
I’m starting to wonder if it’s a pickup issue or maybe something with the frog wiring? It’s a DCC layout, and most of my other locos don’t seem to struggle the same way.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? Do I need to look into powering the frogs, or is there another fix I’m missing?
Any advice, diagrams, or product recommendations would be super appreciated. I’d love to get things running smoothly again—this layout deserves better than a constant stop-and-go!
