Turning a collaborative build into a narrative experience adds a whole new layer of creativity! Count me in.
A few storyline ideas that could work really well:
“The Last Run”: A retiring steam locomotive’s final cross-country journey, stopping at memorable places from its past. Nostalgia meets gritty realism.
“Warfront Express”: A WWII-era supply train moving through various front-line and home-front settings—coastal ports, factories, hidden bunkers.
“Disaster Relief Line”: A modern train bringing aid after a natural disaster—each scene shows different communities coping and rebuilding.
“Ghost Train Chronicles”: A fantasy/horror twist where each segment explores strange events and locations tied to a legendary lost train.
Each builder could choose a “chapter” or setting along the route, and use whatever scale or style they’re comfortable with. The journal/timetable/radio log idea is brilliant—adds personality and cohesion.
