I still remember battling with a laser-cut wood depot kit that had the tiniest mullioned windows I’ve ever seen. The pieces were so delicate that even tweezers felt too bulky! Every time I thought I had a wall square, something else would shift out of alignment. 😅

What got me through was slowing down and dry-fitting everything (multiple times), and eventually upgrading to a magnetic gluing jig — total game changer for keeping walls square. I also learned the value of reinforcing long roof sections from the inside to prevent sagging later.

It was frustrating in the moment, but when I step back and look at it on the layout now, it’s one of my favorite pieces. There’s definitely pride in surviving a build that fights you the whole way! Anyone else have a “grit your teeth and push through” project that ended up being worth it?
